I have a Cingular s710a, and a G5 running 10.3.9 and an iBook running 10.4.3. After some hacking on the G5, I can sync on both computers. What I cant do from either is send a SMS or dial via Address book...

Any Ideas?

I have the same exact problem. Sorry I can't help, but take heart in knowing you're not the only one.

Fixed.

I finally found the solution to this problem. It's from a thread on the apple discussion boards. And it works like a charm.
Alrighty... I got it to work! And here's how:

++ Navigate to Address Book in the Finder (Applications folder)
++ Right(Command)-click the application "Address Book" -- "Show Package Contents"
++ Open the "Contents" folder, then the "Resources" folder
++ Find "Telephony.bundle", right-click and "Show package contents"
++ Open the "Contents" folder, then the "Resources" folder
++ Locate the file "ABDeviceCommandSets.plist" and make a backup copy (copy/paste) of it (call it ABDeviceCommandSets.plist.bkup)
++ Open TextEdit and drag "ABDeviceCommandSets.plist" to TextEdit's dock icon, it should then open in TextEdit
++ Hit Command-F or "Edit>Find>Find"; search for "k700" (without quotes)
++ After "<string>K700</string>" add "<string>S710</string>" (without quotes)
++ Save the file "ABDeviceCommandSets.plist" and quit TextEdit
++ Quit Address Book if it was open, and reopen it. You have to click the Bluetooth icon in AddressBook for anything to communicate

Hope this works well for y'all. Post any issues here and I'll respond!
