I'm in need of some assistance with regards to the BSPlayer 1.4 script.

I downloaded and extracted its content to %programfiles%\Salling Software AB\Salling Clicker\Default Scripts folder; overwritting the default one.

Now I'm not able to open BSPlayer. What am I doing wrong and does the updated 1.4 script assume BSPlayer.exe is somewhere in the %programfiles% folder?

I posted in a different topic about the possibility of having a choice of subtitle and audio streams with the bsplayer remote...

I wonder if this would be possible for windvd too?

I find that this is the only time that i can't control everything from my phone - when i watch a foreign movie on the computer i often have to get up to chose english subtitles and / or the original audio stream.

Any idea if this option could be implemented in the windvd and bsplayer remote control scripts?

Thanks so much!

Just another observation i'd love to see implemented in your wonderful windvd script daffy :)

would it be possible to have the option to directly open "ifo" files from the windvd remote?

Thanks so much...just ideas of course..not taken any of your great work for granted ;)

Hi,
Unfortunately the feature "open movie" isn't working, just nothing happens, everything else is working fine.

I'm using a N70 and the movies are DivX.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Could you also please check the "Script Log" (available from the tray icon menu) for errors related to this script?

Best.

Are you sure you're using the latest version of the scripts? "daffy" has posted a bunch of versions in this thread.

Best.

I'm using the 02/2006 version and I even tried that:
worked when i commented out
// if( settingsFileStream != null )
// settingsFileStream.Close();

in BSPlayer Open Movie.js
Now I can browse through my HDD but it still doesn't open the films.

Errormsg after removing the above quoted line 2 times is
Tue Jan 30 21:23:09 2007
Open Movie - (null)
[Line: 106 (8)] (null)
I don't know what else I can do.

I'm really thankful for you help, please continue :)

skatr:

I'm afraid I cannot support 3rd-party scripts. It'd give me far too little time to actually work on the product (while also supporting my own stuff).

I've tried to push you in a direction that'd help someone else help you.

"daffy" (the author of the script) is (as you can see above) busy moving cities at this point, but I'm pretty sure he'll be able to help you out once he's got some time.

Best.

Well, it looks like Daffy is not coming back soon...

So for all those having problems with the BSPlayer Open Movie command, what I did and worked fine was just to copy the original script that comes with Salling Clicker @ "C:\Program Files\Salling Software AB\Salling Clicker\Default Scripts\BSPlayer Open Movie"
into the "My Documents\My Clicker Scripts\BSPlayer\BSPlayer Open Movie" !

It worked for me and hope it works for you.

Cheers,

Juan

I'm sorry but my computer knowledge is null, so I would really appreciate if you send me the script that you modified so that it doesn't say:
Invalid root in registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TVTool8\CurrentDirectory
thanks
