Hello,

I want to tell a widget to close itself under some condition, so one does not have to close it by clicking on the back/return button. How can I do that?

You can return false from the key up or key down handler, for instance.

Best.

Is there another way? Doesn´t seem to work with an artificial call of the KeyDown function and I do not want to use the keys (should be automatic):

function threadcaller_Update( theScreen )
{
...

if (BSPlayerWidgetLaunched){
threadcaller_KeyDown(theScreen, "s");
}
}

function threadcaller_KeyDown(theScreen, theKey)
{
return false;
}

I see. You're trying to use a keypad widget to show progress, right?

I suggest you write your update event handler so that it changes the text to "app launched. press any key to continue" (or something less generic). What I think you were looking to do is currently not possible.

Best.
