I've got a small update in the works. Here are the improvements:

- Universal Binary for Intel support;
- Supports Mac OS X Tiger;
- Supports synchronization of additional contact fields, depending on phone model: Birthday (W550, W900, W810,), Home street address (K750, D750, W800, Z520, W810, W900, W550,), Work street address (W810, W900, W550,), Notes (K750, D750, W800, Z520, W810, W900, W550,); and
- Improved support for "international" characters.

I know there's also a demand for tasks synchronization, but there's just no time for that right now. :-(

Best.

Great news Jonas!

Do you have an expected timeframe for 1.1? Will you need some beta testers?

Will the K608 phone be supported? (I don't use the contacts synchronisation, but calendar functions work OK at present with the K608)

Cheers from Australia,

Anthony

Here's a beta you can try out. Barring any unknown deficiencies, I think this is it!

Let me know how this works!

Jonas,

Got a problem with recurring events:

When I make a recurring event for say three days (which lasts all day), they will not be synced to my phone (SE W800i). When I make the events seperatly it is no problem....

Also the time is set on 00:40 when I book them seperatly for all day.

I'm using Imac G5 OS 10.4.4 and mobilesync 1.1 (with older versions it was the same problem).

Outlook version 11.1.0

Thanx for answering

I'll make sure to have a look at the "00:40 thing", though.

Best.

I'm syncing a w600i.

to duplicate:

1. Create a contact on Entourage. Add 2 emails. Make them both of type 'Work'
2. Sync
3. Edit contact on phone (change the title or something)
4. Sync

Entourage contact now has only 1 email in contact info.

Hi,

I recently had to reset my w600i. So that process erased my contacts. So i tried to sync my Entourage and w600 to move my contacts back. But then I got this error: "parsing of full item database failed"

So I thought this was a problem with my Entourage. So I rebuilt the database. Still got the same error. Finally I went back to the older 1.0.3 version which worked.

Once that worked, I upgraded back to the 1.1 beta to see if it would work now. And now it does.

Very strange.

I sync. Then I assign a picture to someone on the phone. Save contact. Re-sync. Now contact in Entourage has no email address.

This is a different reincarnation of the issue you reported above. Thanks, though.

Best.

Yay! I just installed 10.4.5 and was wondering what was up -- I am happy to report that sync with my old Ericsson Z600 and Entourage 10.1.4 is going smooth with the build 479 of 1.1 . Thanks!

PostPosted: Fri Apr 14, 2006 11:21 pm    Post subject: Can duplicate sync problems from phone to Entourage Reply with quote

What I'm saying is that in both cases there are problems. I can duplicate these problems by saving a picture, or anything. If I edit the contact in any way on the phone and then sync it back to Entourage, Entourage loses data. It loses all email addresses, truncates a company name, and address etc.

The way around it I've found is that about once a week I delete all my contacts on the phone, re-sync, and then re-add pictures and ring tones to specific contacts on the phone, and re-create all my speed dials. It's a tedious process, takes about 15 minutes, but it's better than me losing data. It's a one-way push (not a sync) essentially. So when I change someone's phone number or something on the phone I make sure I also change it in Entourage manually so that when I perform the delete all again, I'll have good data.
