EDIT: this is now the default download from clicker.salling.com
Nothing much changed here, except everything should now work on Intel Macs, including product registration/activation:
http://www.salling.com/Downloads/SallingClicker480.dmg
I've also incorporated a couple of fixes in the Java client:
- Works better on Siemens models
- Supports landscape mode on Sony Ericsson W550/W600
- Fixed an issue with the date widget
Best.

works flawless here (k750i), including activation!
(is it possible to have k750i optionally landscape as well?) |

Glad to hear it!
No landscape for the K750, as it lacks the buttons that'd make it meaningful.
Cheers.

one small detail though... When in landscape mode, the volume buttons on the side of the phone should be upside down since the voulme down is on the right and voulme up button is on the right...
i.e. when controlling itunes and the voume on the joystick is fine while the volume on the side is upside down.
Looks fantastic now. much more space for long titles.
Thanks! |

Just a couple of oddities with the Universal Binary version. I was just demo'ing it with a friend's QTek which worked flawlessly (probably seeing a purchase from him shortly...).
However, when I went back to using my Treo, it claims that : "Error: Clicker is not launched on this computer".
I noticed that I still had the name of the Qtek in the device section, so I reset to defaults, tried resending the client to the Treo, but it still comes back with the same message.
Running a MacBook Pro with 10.4.6. |

Hm. This doesn't ring any bells. Please make sure you're:
1. Connecting to the right computer.
2. Your Treo and your Mac are paired.
(1+2 are of special significance if you're dual-booting your MacBook, and connecting to it from your Treo in both modes)
3. Clicker is indeed launched.
4. Try restarting your Mac.
Best.

|

I've just made the switch to Mac, my PC goes to the farm while I join the orchard! I bought a Macbook Pro and have got e2sync working fine so pairing isn't an issue. My W800i comes pre-loaded with software like salling clicker that worked fine on my PC but I seem to be having problems using it on the MBP wich I'm guessing means the software is PC specific. I'm very keen to buy clicker but after reading the thread about the problems with this and other SE models I'm a bit worried.
Any news or solutions?
Also, will the current version support the newer W810i ? |

Hi,
If I knew the nature of the problem you're having, I think I might be able to help you out... "having problems" is, unfortunately, not specific enough. ;-)
The W810 is compatible.
Best.

Sorry about the lame error message. However, this is all eSellerate gives me.
I don't think this is a firewall issue. Instead, I think it's your machine.
Please do this:
1. Quit Salling Clicker (from its menu bar status item)
2. Quit System Preferences
3. Trash this folder:
/Library/Application Support/MindVision
4. Repair file permissions with Disk Utility (/Applications/Utilities)
Then have another go. Should work fine.
Best.
