It'd be awesome if there was a good file explorer script for Salling Clicker. I know that currently there is a browse feature in PowerPoint, but a more feature rich and standalone (not integrated into other programs) explorer would be really nice.

I have never written a script so I'm somewhat scared to take a stab at it.

Jonas.. Please?? :D

Hi there,

What would you like the script to actually do? Open things? I could certainly make such a thing, but I'm having doubts it'd be truly useful. Please convince me otherwise! ;-)

Best.

Well I don't think opening/executing is a possibility since windows stuff won't run on any handheld clients.

What I want it to do are the following,

1. browse drives and files/folders.
2. able to show properties of files (size, type, dates etc).
3. copy (PC<->Pocket PC), move (PC<->Pocket PC), delete, rename files.
4. search for files.
5. able to see computers in the same network (if possible).

..thats basically it (plus add/modify more features as you see fit).

Please do consider making a script like this. It'd be really useful for many I'm sure.

Appreciate it.

:-) I think I need to hear this request from quite a lot of people for it to compete successfully in the market of ideas to be realized.

Thanks for the clarification, though. What do you other guys think?

Best.

Please let me know if you guys have any questions. Working from the existing file browse scripts is probably a good idea to get a running start.

Best.

Hey, Excuse the bug-me-not login... I haven't gotten around to signing up yet.

Seeing that I've gotten my Treo 650 to start working through the mobile Internet I would DEFINATLY appreciate any sort of app that would get as close to possible as remote control!

Did anything happen to this?

I'd REALLY like a function like that.
For example, When I open music/mp3- or movie-files that aren't in the library(of winamp) they'd automatically open in winamp and it'd play there.
Besides, the artist browser and artist search in the winamp script aren't really good if you have as much music as I have.

If the browse script we're talking about here would be present the harddiscs, directories and files the same way/order as in explorer it'd be ace!
Wouldn't mind a search function to all this, and cut, copy and paste as well.
