Hi, I am extremely excited now that I finally have my own Salling Clicker scripts working. I noticed "log" in the applescript dictionary and that it supposedly adds lines to the Applescript Log window from the title bar menu.

I can't get anything to show up there though. I created a very simple script like this

try
tell application "SEC Helper"
log "Hey"
end tell
on error
beep
end try

and when I select it on my phone, it beeps back on the computer but nothing shows up in the log window.

I am sure I'm missing something totally obvious here. Thanks for any suggestions or examples.

Steve

Try this:

log message "here's your log text"

Best.

Thanks! I was misreading the applescript dictionary. thanks for straightening me out, works fine now.

By the way I have been using the provided scripts for a long time but only recently started writing my own. This. Is. Great. Fun.
