Hi there,

This remote is fantastic.
But i just have one request...a function to close/quit winamp.
Similar to the one for this remote(where holding down 0 does the trick)
http://www.salling.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3048&highlight=winamp#top
I have tried to copy and paste the required code from that remote into this one, but as i have no programming experience, i cant seem to get it right.

Im sure its just a simple step so any help is greatly appreciated.

I haven't experience in Java but I did some useful changes in winamp.js.

1. joeker's searching for album in menu
2. shortcuts for toggling shuffle and repeat on 6 and 9 key
3. stop playback function on "c" key (in SonyEricsson works ;)

ps. I don't know why displaying album art doesn't work too.

I get this error when trying to start the winamp script:
[code:1]Fri May 11 21:44:09 2007
Winamp Remote - Microsoft JScript runtime error
[Line: 44 (1)] Automation server can't create object

[/code:1]
is it not 3.5 compatible?

Thanks for information about new version. :D

But it runs on this as well.

I don't know what happened but everything works (even album art displaying). Sorry, one thing doesn't - rating stars indicator. I took note on that problem here

Hi,
i tried the Winamp script and it works fine, but in the control screen i only see the tracknumber and the progress bar does not work.
When i show the playlist, i can't see the Track numbers/name but i can select blind.

I use Winamp 2.91 and 5.34 and the active winamp plugin.

The pictures are from my palm powered Sony Clie NX73V,
but have the same Problem on my SE W800i.

Regards
Groby

I cannot help you with this, but I think it'll be easier for the script author to help you if you tell him how it doesn't work.

i think the artwork depends on the metadata.....its individual with each file theres no error with the script its the music file.

I think it is necessary to make a full scan of folders in media library for displaying artworks. I guess that it repaired the problem in my case.

Do you mean ID3Tags?
Most of the files in the Playlist have it.
