Hi there.

I've bought a Sitecom CN-521 BT Dongle (http://tinyurl.com/ouozn)

The intstallation disk installs the Toshiba drivers

How do I get the MS ones working instead so that I can use Clicker (on MS Windows XP SP2)?

Cheers

David

I haven't had experience with the Toshiba drivers, but when I changed from Widcomm drivers to MS, not only did I have to remove the Widcomm drivers (using Add or Remove Programs control panel), I also had to delete the USB device registration from the registry so that Windows would rediscover my Belkin dongle.

To do this I ran regedit and went to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB. Then I searched for "bluetooth" and found my Belkin dongle listed under subkey Vid_050d&Pid_0084. I deleted this subkey. Next time I plugged in my dongle, it was rediscovered and installed using MS bluetooth drivers.

Usual disclaimer applies when poking around the registry. If you don't feel comfortable doing this, perhaps you could email Sitecom support for advice.

Ken.
