|
|
I downloaded loftzon's PowerDVD scripts and longed for more. So I did a major upgrade.
This version should work with PowerDVD v5 - v7, although I have only tested it on v6.
When you first launch it, you are in "Menu Mode"
- Press and hold the select key to toggle between "Play Mode" and "Menu Mode"
In Menu Mode:
- up/down/left/right are DVD menu keys (hold to repeat)
- select is DVD select and/or DVD play
- key 2 toggles fullscreen
- key 3 is DVD root menu
- 0 key does a mouse right-click, where you can then navigate to just about any option. Select a "grey" option to cancel out
In Play Mode:
- up/down is volume (hold to repeat)
- left/right is chapter previous/next
- hold left/right for scan reverse and fast forward
- select key is a true play/pause toggle
- key 2 toggles fullscreen
- key 3 is DVD root menu
In addition, under the More menu you can:
- Stop playback (DVD Stop)
- Quit PowerDVD (quits the PowerDVD application)
- Toggle fullscreen
- Root menu
- Open File
For "Open File", it will show all visible drives, as well as shortcuts to Desktop and My Documents. You can open avi, mpg, dat, and vob files. If you select a VIDEO_TS folder, it will open the contents in the proper DVD on HDD mode.
I hope this is as useful for you as it is for me!

I will look into it. If you launch PowerDVD first (so it is already running), does it work then? Or does it still just hang?

|
|
I have Treo 750 and I press and hold center D-Pad button for long, but Menu mode doesnt change to Play mode or anything. I am tired of doing it now. I have seen same problem in a music player app on my Treo, where center button wont select the song, no matter how long its pressed, whereas any other button will. It works well for all other apps and functions. Is there any work around for this problem???

There is a little error in the "PowerDVD Remote.js" File
it is an automatical error in the flags of the function 'FindWindow"
just change them vice-versa, to be FindWindow("","Cyberlink PowerDVD")
