|See, "images on remote" is already taken, and "front row remote" is already taken. You guys are so generic~
So anyway, I want to make a front row remote incorporating these two images, which I painstaking photochopped earlier this evening, whereby the first is swapped for the second so long as some key is held (or toggle when it's pressed, whatever).
Also, it'd be nice to have the d-pad/joystick work as well as numerical keys pictured (for older SE phones whose joysticks are starting to go, for example).
I figured I'd just slap them into an existing front row script that was working very well for me (included, along with the .psd file and the other pictures in this directory), then tweak the key settings. But it would seem I'm totally in over my head here. I asked my buddy who knows a thing or two about applescripts to look it over, but he can't have one image replace the other. Also, neither of us have any idea how to bundle an image with a script...
My motivation, in case you were wondering, is that while I know how Apple's remote is supposed to work, random guests and whoever don't and I'm getting bored of explaining it. Plus, you know, pretty~
tl;dr version: "Help me, I can't code but I can use photoshop."
