Trouble launching the application

Hi

I managed to install the app on my nokia 6230

but when I try and launch it - I get an error

java/lang/classnotfoundException

can anybody suggest what this means and what I should do?

John,

You have not installed the software properly.

Delete your broken installation and follow the suggestion to point your phone's browser to wap.salling.com

I used Phone director to install the .jar file - as I dont have wap access

is there no way to do it from the deskop?

You can use phone director, but if you do, you need to understand how to use this complex tool.

Thanks that worked a treat - but how far is the bluetooth range? seems pretty short? - does it require a direct line of sight?

Depends on your equipment. Line of sight is generally not required. In my experience, the range is usually adequate. If you search for "range" here in the forums, you'll find plenty of topics that discuss this (incl. solutions for getting better range).
