Has anyone succeeded in getting the M600 BT PAN to work with a Macintosh?

Iím trying to get my M600 (with latest firmware) and my MacBook Pro (OS 10.4.10) to talk via BT PAN. I tried every step in this thread, and many other sites I found with Google, and all permutations I can think of, but nothing seems to do the trick.

I'm interested in both Mac > M600 > internet, and also M600 > Mac > internet.

But currently I cannot get either direction working.

Here is what I've found: going from Mac > M600 > internet seems to be a problem with the M600. The Macintosh apparently recognizes if a BT device offers PAN, and will display this info at the end of the 'Set up Bluetooth Device' wizard. However, this currently doesnít happen when I set up the M600, even though I have turned on BT internet (PAN).

In the other direction, M600 > Mac > internet, I have set the M600 to first use a BT internet PAN account before it tries GPRS, and I can see that this part works. But I can't work out how to get the Macintosh to respond and share its internet. I've tried playing around with the 'Sharing' / 'Internet' in the System Preferences, I have tried most possible permutations.

My conclusion: PAN is somehow not 'enabled' on the mac or on the m600 Ė even though Iíve tried MANY things to do this, especially on the m600.

Either that or, shudder, mac and m600 BT PANs are incompatible.

Any ideas?
