Hello,

I am trying out Salling Media Sync to synchronize iTunes music with my wife's k850i. Although the phone has a 8GB card in it (and this is recognized by the phone itself), Salling Media Sync is reporting only 4GB of memory. In particular, it refuses to copy a 5GB playlist from iTunes.

Is this a limitation of the unregistered version? I would definitely purchase the software if it works; however the available information says that the only difference between the unregistered and the registered version is that the unregistered version does not have a synchronize (only copy again) feature. This leads me to believe that this is a (for me, critical) bug in SMS.. (For instance, if it were using a 32-bit unsigned integer to as an internal "address space", then the limit would be exactly 4GB).

Clues, anyone?

This is indeed a 32-bit issue, in the phone...

This phone does not properly support cards beyond 4 GB. Please see this for more:

Best.

Thanks, Jonas!

Sorry, I did not notice the FAQ before. This means that I'll probably stick to connecting the phone in "Data Transfer" (or somesuch) mode, and copying the content over by other means. I'm not expecting to do this very often...

Too bad. I really like the functionality and interface of the Media Transfer tool. Not to mention Salling Clicker - which I use quite regularly on my own N95. :)

Best regards,
-tor
