Salling Media Sync had a hard time finding my iTunes Library on installation, and I apparently directed it to the wrong folder, because none of my music, podcasts, etc., show up. So I'd like to either (a) locate the correct Library folder for it or (b) uninstall and reinstall it or (c) delete its preferences.

Can't figure out how to do any of that. Can you help? Thanks.

Hi,

Yes, this is a short-coming in the current version: that there's no UI for deleting an erroneous choice of iTunes location (if the app doesn't pick one up automatically).

Try this:

Quit the app.

In Terminal, paste:

[code:1]defaults delete com.salling.MediaSync com.salling.MediaSync.iTunes.LibraryPath[/code:1]

FYI: the next version of the app will be smarter about automatically picking the iTunes library currently selected in iTunes (when it's in a non-standard location).

Best.
