Media Sync konverts .m4b to .m4a

Hi, I have a little problem with this great software. I have a SE W980 that supports aac .m4b format and I synced it with SMS. The Audiobooks on my Harddisk are in .m4b. After I synced with media transfer mode and looked on my device with mass storage mode the audiobooks were in .m4a format. They also weren't listed in the audiobooks section on the phone.

Is this a problem with SMS or with my SE Phone?

Hi Chris,

This is unrelated to m4a->m4b file name changes.

Not quite sure how to populate the Audiobook menu with titles on the SE phones.

It is. It's said in the official description and after I renamed the files to .m4b in mass storage mode, they appeared in the audiobook menu. But this is apperently only a workaround.
