I just set the album art on a bunch of my albums and now I regret buying the paid version because it says there are no changes to sync! Is there any way to get around this?

Sorry about that. Only certain metadata changes will prompt an update (rating, playcount), and only when using MTP mode.

What you can do is uncheck "Music" and sync. This will remove all synced music from your device. Then check "Music" and sync again. The effect of this will be a resync.

Best.

Thanks! That did the trick. It didn't pick up the new album art, but I think that's because iTunes added it to its database and not to the individual files. Oh well.

Great product, by the way. iTunes is a huge reason most people stick with an iPhone instead of something else, but this takes away nearly all of that advantage! It really helped me transition from my iPhone to my Eris.

Glad to hear it, but Salling Media Sync actually gets the artwork out of iTunes, too (on the Mac), and embeds it into each file. The problem might be on the Android end, perhaps?

If you want to, you can navigate to the track as it ends up on your device (navigate to it in Finder) and email it to me. I'll check to see if it contains embedded artwork.

Best.

So, I mounted the SD card and took a look at some of the files, and sure enough, they all had artwork attached. I think all the file shuffling was a bit too much for the music player to keep track of. I wiped it clean (by syncing without music), opened the music player, then synched everything back again. Now, everything has album art. Thanks again!
