I'm the least techy person on the planet and have repeatedly messed up my efforts to sync my music onto my N97.
I've checked that my music isn't DRM protected and is the correct file types - no problems there that I can see.
Using my Nokia software I managed to get over 2200 songs on my N97 - perplexing as I only have just over 1900 in total on my laptop. So, I downloaded the Salling Softward as it seemed more straightforward and would nicely sync things as I have them in iTunes. Having synced using this software, I only have just over 1000 songs on my phone - around 900 short of what I should have!
I've read something in a post about downloading a file to the phone's storage card and using it in mass storage device setting but a) don't know whether this will sort my issues and b) don't know where you mean by 'storage card'.
Can anyone offer any advice (other than to abandon the N97 and revert to separate ipod and carrier pigeon, which is about my technical level)?
