I'm having a strange issue and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen the following: I ran a sync, ended up removing some albums for a while, and now that I'd like to put those albums back on Salling doesn't give me the option to sync. Basically it still seems to think the songs are on my device when they've been removed? Thoughts/insights?

Sounds like you removed the tracks independently of Media Sync, i.e. by trashing them either using Finder or some file manager on your phone.
I think it's mentioned in the built-in help what'll happen when you do this. It's recommended you not manually change what's been synced, and instead leave it to the app to deal with it.
That said, it's not too difficult to fix:
1. Unsync all music (or at least the playlists containing the tracks you've removed). I.e. uncheck "Sync music" and click "Sync"
2. Sync the stuff back again. I.e. check "Sync music" and click "Sync"
The reason for us not copying back what you've *manually* removed from the phone is that we assume you had a very good reason for not wanting the content on your phone. So the app respects that.
Cheers.

Thanks for the quick reply. In hindsight that sort of check to not re-sync does make a lot of sense. Thanks for the tip. |
