Salling's Remote Basics v.1.0 for Sony Ericsson K700 and S700 released
Stockholm, Sweden—August 9, 2004—Salling Software AB today announced the immediate availability of the free Salling's Remote Basics v.1.0, a set of remote controls for popular Mac applications that work with Sony Ericsson's K700 and upcoming S700 models.
"The K700 and S700 models have a simple built-in feature that lets the user remotely control a computer using Bluetooth," said Jonas Salling, President of Salling Software AB. "Unfortunately, popular Macintosh applications are not supported out-of-the-box."
Salling's Remote Basics v.1.0 fills the gap by adding the ability to control iTunes, DVD Player, EyeTV, VLC, PowerPoint, and Keynote. Simple commands like stop, next track, volume up/down can be given when the controlled application is in the foreground.
